Well, the same goes for any of us:

Let go.

Leave the control.

Free will is valid — a sacred gift,

Not a chain to hold another’s wrist.

No vow means anything

without the breath of choice.

Why do you desire glory at any cost?

To impress a world

that cannot love you back?

I miss nothing here.

Not the gold.

Not the games.

Not the ghosts of empty praise.

For when you finally see,

you learn:

nothing of this world can satisfy

what only God can fill.

Even if I abandon my life —

it is not to man.

Not to systems.

Not to beggars in royal robes.

I have an Entrustee.

The Most Faithful One:

Jesus Christ.

He alone holds my name in light.

He alone knows the shape of my soul.

I have learned:

The only true way to besiege evil

is not with its weapons,

but by leaving its house altogether.

Let the world go.

Let the qualities that chained me burn.

Even those shadows inside me —

I renounce them too.

Let the world be what it is.

But I will be who I am:

Beloved.

Redeemed.

Unbound.

And walking home.

Amen.
