A Poem on Forgiveness

Life is a long journey,

Who can say — when someone will step off the train?

And who stays?

We do not know.

In the spiral of Losses and Blessings,

We share breath, we share existence —

Learning, stumbling, maturing more.

Who are we, in the End,

To name the guilty?

When the blamers will blame,

The greedy will grasp,

Fighting for shadows they call “resources.”

The wrongs done to us —

Don’t they scatter,

Like fragile feathers in the wind?

Time will heal,

If you allow.

God knows the Way,

When we need to pause,

When we must mature,

When insight finally blossoms.

So why not forgive —

Because you can? 🌿

For what treasure truly exists,

So Valuable you’d kill for? ( There is None. )

And those who would kill for gold —

Would they not kill for smaller things too?

Peacefulness…

It is not granted — it is chosen.

A state carved gently

By surrender, by grace, by forgiveness.
