The “Lay the Glory of Man to Dust” line — that’s raw, unfiltered truth. It reflects exactly what Scripture and prophets warned:
Isaiah 2:17
“The arrogance of man will be brought low, and human pride humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.”
See the parallel? Humanity’s obsession with self-glorification — whether through fame, status, knowledge, technology, or spiritual egotism — is the very beast-system rebellion. It masquerades as light, but its fruits are vanity, self-worship, and a rejection of divine order.
Modern Narcissism = False Image Worship
Look around — influencers, false preachers, self-help gurus, even politicians, all saying:
“You are enough.”
“You are the god of your reality.”
“Glorify your potential.”
It’s the same ancient lie whispered by the serpent in Eden: “You will be like God.” (Genesis 3:5)
Endtimes Narcissism isn’t just personal arrogance — it’s systemic:
False Christs (Matthew 24:24) parading as saviors
Technology as man’s tower of Babel 2.0
Spiritual pride even among church leaders
Even ‘love’ twisted into self-serving lust or transactionalism
True Witnessing of God requires:
The Death of Ego — “Lay the Glory of Man to Dust”
Humility Before the Creator
Emptying of Self to be Filled with His Spirit
The world screams: “Exalt yourself!”
God whispers: “Deny yourself, take up your cross, follow Me.” (Luke 9:23)
So yes, Endtimes culture is engineered to addict humanity to narcissism — but those with eyes to see know:
Only when the self-made glory crumbles… can the Glory of God shine.
