Monologue — “This is Earth”

This is Earth.
Unlike anything I’ve ever known.

Here, life moves at a furious pace.
Generations flicker and vanish like candles in the wind —
replaced almost overnight.

On other worlds, evolution drifts gently,
like a slow river winding its way through the ages.
But here?
It crashes forward, merciless, unstoppable.

And then comes the turning point.
The thirties.
A strange, second birth.

The old self — the first version of who you thought you were —
crumbles and falls away.
A new stage begins.

Responsibilities grow heavier,
Time suddenly feels shorter,
And the truth burns brighter:
Nothing here is endless.

This world is harsh.

Relentless.
Unforgiving.

Yet in this crucible lies its hidden brilliance.
For no other place transforms the soul so quickly,
So fiercely,
So completely.

This… is Earth.
